Met Ensembles

      Music at Metropolitan United Church

Metropolitan United Church is home to a rich and varied number of musical opportunities, which are available to singers and musicians of all ages and levels of ability. Below is a little bit about each ensemble:

      The Senior Choir

The Senior Choir is Met’s adult choral ensemble. The Senior Choir sings weekly for the 11 AM Sunday Service, with rehearsals at 10 AM. During the week the choir rehearses on Thursday evenings from 730-930 pm in Met Hall

      The Parish Quire

This choir is made up of singers who cannot make the commitment to sing every week, or perhaps don’t have a great deal of experience. The PQ sings for the 11 AM service roughly four times per year. Rehearsals are held on the two Sundays preceding a performance at 12 pm.

      The Jubilate Bells

The Jubilate Bell Choir is Met’s adult bell choir. The choir rehearses on Wednesday evenings from 730-900 pm. The Jubilate Bells perform one Sunday per month at the 11 am service. New members are always welcome.
